Gah, got stuck working the afternoon to close shift on Valentine's Day. Doesn't that suck? XD I guess somebody had to do it and lots of people took off for the day, so I had to stick around.

I haven't figured out my New Year's resolutions yet, but maybe I could start with registering at the Hokage's as a shinobi. Work's great and all, I've never felt so responsible before, but I've been training and doing nothing about it. I've been here for almost a year now, but I feel like I haven't done all that much all the time I've been here. It's kind of a crappy feeling being unfulfilled that way.

But no one wants to wallow in their angst like that. It's so lame, ha! Hope the new year treats you guys well.

Ha ha I'm so bad at keeping this thing updated and stuff. I've got parties parties parties stuck in the brain because of Halloween, only the coolest holiday after my birthday April Fool's. The steakhouse has been decorated all orange and black with pumpkins and all those spooky things and it's getting me even more excited for the 31st. Which reminded me, that party two weeks ago was good times. Nice meeting all you guys, especially Saku-chan, Naruto -- sorry about the almost torching your head thing, heh -- and I guess that older looking Saku-chan too.

About parties, anyone throwing one for Halloween? Because if anyone is I am SO THERE. I can even fire spin for show if you itching for some staged entertainment. *grin* Otherwise I'll probably go ToTing as a pirate or something. Seriously who can pass up free candy? XD

Not a whole lot's been going on with me again. Word has it I might be promoted at work since I haven't been screwing up too bad but no one's sure yet. Pretty exciting, huh? A bigger salary's more than welcome. Other than that I've been training a bit on my own, mainly with taijutsu since I've always been kinda awkward pulling off a bunch of moves in a row. Been working with my fire jutsu over some lake in some spooky old district that seems familiar somehow. I'm getting better, but I still can't blow it farther than barely a quarter of the way. It's a big lake though so don't make fun!

Passed by Rin's a couple times to hang out but no one ever answers. It's been a while though. Do I just keep missing her or where the heck is she? It kinda worries me.

Whoo, I've been meaning to update this thing but I've been lazy as heck with it. Then again who wants to read the same "Yup, working for the moolah" every single week? Didn't think so, but for the most part that's how it's been rolling for me so there's really no point in repeating the same thing over and over. Dag, I need to get out more, maybe do another prank run on my off-day and stuff. OR TRAIN, ha ha yeah, that'd be a good idea. Being warped into the wrong place and wrong time isn't any excuse to slack off, heh.

The one not monotonous thing that went on was dinner with Rin which was for the most part great. Think we both had a good time not counting all the yelling and crying. Rin's such a sweetheart. Has to be one of the nicest people I've ever met so I'm glad we got the chance to do something for her sort-of birthday. Let's hang out again sometime! :D Then you can tell me about this Gai being your boyfriend business. >.<*

I've been meaning to take you out at some point, Rin. Then I realized I was cleaned out of dough. That's no good, 'cuz you can't go out with anyone if you can't even afford to keep them entertained. But I won't forget, promise! I wouldn't do that to you. Especially you... A true man sticks by his word.

I'm a working man now, everybody! I've been crazy busy the past few weeks since living's getting pretty tight. The first few weeks or so I was just on dishwashing duty but they promoted me to busboy. It's not the greatest paying job out there, but it's something and I've been getting by all right on it. You should all come by Bisawa Steakhouse sometime! It'd rock to see some familiar faces. And the food's pretty awesome too.

Uhh maaan, I'm so tired. I think I'm gonna go to bed now.
